Every piece has an origin story. This is ours.
Before the Explorer Hoodie existed as a product, it existed as a feeling. That specific feeling you get when you step outside and the city opens up in front of you — full of possibility, full of energy, full of people moving with purpose. We wanted to bottle that. We wanted to wear it.
That’s where the Explorer was born.
The Brief We Gave Ourselves
When we sat down to design the Explorer, we didn’t start with a mood board. We started with a question: what does the urban explorer actually need?
Not what looks good on a flat lay. Not what photographs well. What does the person who moves through the city — who transitions from the studio to the street to the session to the late night — actually need from a hoodie?
The answer came back the same every time: presence without compromise.
Something that holds its shape after the third wash. Something that moves with your body, not against it. Something that looks intentional whether you’ve paired it with cargos and fresh kicks or thrown it over whatever you grabbed on the way out the door.
That’s the brief. The Explorer is the answer.
Built From What Already Existed
One of the things we’re most proud of about the Explorer — and every piece in Chronicles Vol. 1 — is what it’s made from.
We took what was already there and transformed it into something worth wearing.
That’s the Rosenberries ‘Reborn’ methodology in action. It’s not just a sustainability talking point — it’s a design philosophy. Every time you wear the Explorer, you’re wearing something that was rescued, reimagined, and rebuilt for the streets.
The Community Shaped It
Here’s something most brands won’t tell you: the Explorer Hoodie isn’t just our design. It’s yours too.
Before the final version was locked in, we took it to the community. Discord sessions. Feedback loops. Real conversations with real people about what they wanted to see, what they wanted to feel, what was missing from the hoodies already in their rotation.
The dropped shoulders came from that. The weight of the fabric came from that. The colourways — Powder Blue and Navy — came from that.
When you wear the Explorer, you’re wearing a piece that was shaped by the people who were going to wear it. That’s not a marketing line. That’s just how we build.
What the Explorer Stands For
The Explorer Hoodie isn’t just a product in Chronicles Vol. 1. It’s a statement of intent.
It says: I move through this city on my own terms. I don’t follow the map — I make it.
It says: I care about what I wear and where it comes from.
It says: I’m part of something.
That something is Rosenberries. And this is just Chapter 01.
